Hi! I am a LCSW with 6 years of therapy experience. I have worked in several areas of expertise including depression, anxiety, stress management, addictions, trauma, parenting, relationships, domestic violence, and communication and boundaries. I take a client centered, strengths based, approach when meeting with patients, focusing on solutions as well as hidden strengths, resources, and individuals’ areas of concern. I come from a community mental health background, in which I learned to identify immediate needs, collaboratively care plan with the patient, and work at the patient’s pace. I use person-first language and focus on how people have survived and overcome obstacles. I have experience specifically with domestic violence issues, working with perpetrators of domestic violence as well as focusing on communication and boundary issues in relationships. Each patient is unique, and I will tailor my approach to best meet your needs.
