Education, experience, credentials: – Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both Hawaii and Colorado – Alumni of the Sex Therapy and Education Program at the University of Michigan – Have worked in mental health in higher education for the past 8 years – Masters Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University – Member of AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) – Level 1 Gottman Method Training- modality for treating couples/partners Specializations: Sex, Sexuality, Relationships, and Intimacy. Throughout our lives many of us have been confronted with fear and shame-based messages, inaccurate and harmful information, and often problematic ideas regarding our well-being (and sexuality). These experiences can leave us feeling confused or ashamed, ultimately impacting our ability to tap into our full and authentic selves. You are, and have always been, the expert of your own experience. Even if it might not always feel like it, you already hold all the answers to your own self-discovery & growth.
