I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a masters of science in Counseling. I have over 17 years experience providing counseling services, including virtual counseling, in private practice. My treatment is cognitive-behavioral with a teaching approach. This means my focus is to be proactive on reaching goals and objectives and the strategies to reach them. I provide individual, family, couples and behavioral therapy to multiple demographics. Along with providing counseling services to the general population, I am an expert in providing counseling to specialized/unique populations, including, but not limited to: traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, MS, chronic disease, veterans, and mental health issues. I look forward to working with you. Michael Rooney, LPC Licensed Professional Counselor
