Michael Maddock

I’m a dual-licensed clinician (LPC and LMHC) with 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. After earning my master’s degree from the University of Central Florida in 2011, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of clinical settings with clients spanning from preschool-aged children to older adults in retirement. My background includes providing diagnostic evaluations, assessments, and therapeutic support for a broad spectrum of mental health concerns—from depression and anxiety to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a Scientific Solutions Director, which allows me to stay informed on the latest developments in psychiatric assessment tools and evidence-based treatments. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma (including PTSD), and relationship issues. I believe a strong therapeutic alliance is the foundation for meaningful growth, and I work collaboratively with my clients to foster lasting change. I’ve been offering telehealth services for over five years and am committed to making the virtual therapy experience supportive, accessible, and effective. My counseling style is compassionate, client-centered, and empowering. I use an eclectic therapeutic approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Gestalt, Existential, and Psychodynamic techniques. I tailor treatment to meet each client where they are and to help set achievable, personalized goals. It’s been an honor to support hundreds of courageous individuals on their mental health journeys.
