I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut with 18 years of clinical work experience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I can assist clients who experience depressive/ mood disorders, anxiety/panic disorders, personality disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, trauma, issues of adjustment, addictions, and social stressors. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Therapy which address the impact of our thoughts on our feelings and behaviors. I will work with you to address and alter the irrational thoughts and beliefs that increase symptom severity and that accompany negative feelings and behaviors. I also utilize humor, when appropriate, to help strengthen the therapeutic bonds with my clients. Each client is unique and I am able to customize my therapeutic approach to your specific needs.
