Michael Davis

I am a licensed clinical social worker living in Florida with over 15 years of experience working as an individual, family and group therapist. I have worked with clients in a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, anger issues, parenting problems, relationship issues, OCD and ADHD. The majority of my work has been as an “in-home therapist” guiding children and parents as they overcome past abuse, neglect and grief/loss issues. My counseling style is personable and engaging. I am non-judgmental and hold unconditional positive regard for all. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectal behavioral, psychodynamic and trauma-focused therapies . I will collaborate to discover what type of counseling will benefit you the most. Staying on task by developing interventions to achieve your goal is central to overcoming any challenges.
