Over my years of experience working as a mental health counselor, I have found that flexibility is the key to a good counseling experience. I will spend time to get to know you and establish a working relationship that will allow me to tailor your experience to what will work to help you reach your short and long term counseling goals. Just as we all deal with stress and turbulent situations differently, your counseling experience will be like no one else’s, and our conversations will move at your preferred pace to ensure you are comfortable and making progress towards a happier you. I truly enjoy helping others and take pride in developing a therapeutic partnership with my clients to work towards positive change. My experience includes working in a university counseling department as well as serving as the lead clinician in a residential substance abuse program. Through these roles, I have worked with a diverse demographic of people and addressed a variety of counseling issues such as, but not limited to, substance abuse and addiction, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Whether you are seeking counseling for your relationship or are suffering from anxiety, depression, or addiction, we will work through it together. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also a Certified Master’s Level Addiction Professional (MCAP).
