Mary Meehan

I am licensed in Missouri with 28 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I have also dealt with many people suffering from PTSD, either from childhood trauma, adult trauma or military service trauma, I also have experience working with concentration, memory and focus (adhd). I love working with kids and/or their parents who are struggling in school both academically and socially, as I was also a teacher for many years. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I also want you to know that I am very flexible working with you when you need me. I have no problem working late at night or on weekends early in the morning or later in the afternoon and evening on Sundays. Botton line, I will try to accommodate your needs in scheduling. If there is no open slot in your needed timeframe, please do not hesitate to talk to me about the times you need, I try VERY, VERY HARD to accommodate and work with you within your time frame.
