It takes courage to take the first step toward the life where you are successful and thriving! I appreciate you taking the time to understand my background. With two and decades of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC-S, National Certified Counselor (NCC), and National Certified School Counselor (NCSC), in Texas, I provide counseling for individuals, couples, and families. I have a M. Ed from University of Houston-Victoria and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Communication from Angelo State University. I strive to make my therapy environment genuine, respectful, positive and safe. I have worked with teens, parents, and adults working through life issues and my approach is solution focused, client centered and some Cognitive Behavioral Theory. In challenging beliefs and thoughts that may be unhelpful, I present different perspectives, behaviors, realities, and skills to improve a variety of issues. I believe clients possess the internal ability to improve their overall functioning in a productive and encouraging setting. I will support you in getting where you want to be. Therapy can be a place for you to develop skills and feel heard. You are the biggest part of the therapy process as you are the expert in your life journey.
