Marquise Harris-Mason

Greetings, My name is Marquise Harris-Mason, I hold a MA from Oakland University and BSW from Madonna University. I am in a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan. I have been working in the mental health sector since 2003 in array of areas. I have experience working with depression, mood disorders, ADHD, emotional regulations, domestic violence/ sexual assault, trauma, sexual abuse, relationship problems, personal concerns, career coaching and career planning. My style of therapy is a humanist approach which entails compassion, encouragement and empowerment . I use an array of therapy approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person-Client-Center therapy, Solution-Focused Based Therapy and Narrative Therapy, when working with a client. I am a trained- certified Trauma-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapist in Michigan. I acknowledge that it took a lot of courage and strength to reach out for help.
