My name is Markia and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults. I believe in the power of human connection and value the life experience of each client I serve. My style is gentle and honest. My role as a therapist is to aid in the restorative process by providing a safe, peaceful space for healing. I specialize in treating PTSD in adults and have specialty in sexual abuse and domestic violence. I have a heart for serving urban communities. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and I honor the uniqueness of every client. I provide individual therapy by utilizing TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, wellness, and holistic approaches.
