Marie Pierre-Canel

My name is Marie Pierre-Canel, a mental health counselor licensed in Florida with over 3 years of experience working as a counselor and a life coach. I work with children, teenagers, and adults who are facing different types of challenges including problematic behaviors, distorted thoughts, and difficult relationships. We help improve self-esteem, replace negative self-talks with more positive ones, enhance ability to cope with life’s worries, and develop skills needed to effectively interact with others. I am very patient, dynamic, and culturally sensitive. I treat everyone with respect and dignity. I use several approaches to help my clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy . My treatment plans are tailored to address each client’s unique and specific needs. I truly believe struggles can change life for the better if we learn the lesson needed to move forward.
