I am licensed in North Carolina with 26 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, & depression. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I believe in treating everyone with respect, integrity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I view counseling as a collaborative process … a partnership. The client has identified the need for help and has courageously taken the first step of setting up and keeping that first appointment … My role includes providing a confidential relationship in which they can explore their concerns and hopes. It’s an amazing relationship, really. While I am in the designated helping role, I am learning constantly from the insights and fortitude of my clients. I work from the perspective that the Lord God is the source of healing, growth, and freedom for people … who He created in His image. I strive to demonstrate His love and truth by interacting with my clients with respect, integrity, and compassion – regardless of their worldview and faith beliefs. For clients who desire interaction within the biblical context, I endeavor to help with understanding and applying Scripture to the experiences and challenges of their daily living as they journey with Jesus Christ. Whatever the client’s perspective, my goal is to provide sound clinical expertise with genuine care for each client as we collaborate for their health and well-being.
