Dr. Marguerite Morgan

Ms. Morgan is a Licensed Social Worker and a Certified Addiction Counselor with the State of Michigan. She has provided mental health counseling for 30 years. She uses an Integrative Counseling approach, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Ms. Morgan’s integrates cultural sensitivity, biblical wisdom, principles of recovery, realistic hope, stress management and positive psychotherapy, with a results oriented framework. Core beliefs, values, feelings of self-worth, esteem and identity are deeply grounded in her faith and spirituality. Her counseling is primarily with women facing mental health challenges, such as trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideations and substances use disorders. She specializes in maternal mental health challenges, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and maternal grief and loss. Ms. Morgan is a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and church leader, who enjoys sewing and cooking. She earned a Masters of Social Work from Western Michigan University.
