I am a psychotherapist, a licensed clinical social worker, with over 25 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I have experience and specialization in the areas of: stress management, anger management, life transition (grief/loss, elder care, etc..), trauma/abuse and issues of cultural diversity. One of the biggest misconceptions about therapy is that you are TOLD what to do by the therapist. Rather than telling, we work together to assist you with not only finding possible solutions, but to develop an understanding of the emotional events which have lead you to counseling. That work helps in creating alternative ways of dealing with and resolving those initial challenges, situations or problems. You are not alone in address and resolving your concerns. I look forward to assisting you in that process; together we can.
