Welcome! My name is Lisa and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University and have 17 years experience in the Social Work field in the areas of child welfare, advocacy, prevention, crisis management and mental health services. My therapeutic experience has been diverse and has included work with individuals, couples and families of all ages. I am passionate about clinical work and have specialized in the areas of addiction and recovery, sexual abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and suicide prevention. In practice, I am committed to providing a safe environment for those I work with and I utilize Solution-focused therapy, Attachment-based Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness skills, meditation skills development and Systems approaches to tailor a specific treatment approach for each client. I am dedicated to advocating for social justice and attempt to foster personal growth and individual empowerment in others. In terms of availability, I work hard to make myself as available as possible for my clients. I check and respond to messages at least once daily Mondays through Friday. On weekends, I am not available. I also offer several different options for live sessions (chat or phone) and these are scheduled by appointment only. I look forward to working with you!
