Lesley Webb

Hi ! My name is Lesley Webb and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with experience working with adults, children and families. I have an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University, and a Masters of Education in Counseling. I have worked primarily with children and families who have experienced trauma, domestic violence and family communication challenges. I also have experience working with adults and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety and weight/body image issues. I currently spend a lot of my time working with parents of younger children. My approach to counseling is humanistic, client-centered and systems focused. I feel the client is the expert of his/her life and experiences and the counselor role is one of support, clarification and providing time, resources and an outlet for reflection. I work within a systems approach and believe our biological families and the families we create influence who we are. I will create an environment of safety, where you are able to share your experiences with someone who will treat you with respect and dignity. As I get to know you, we will set goals together and adjust based on your desired needs and outcomes. Personally, I have been married for 30 years and have 2 daughters- ages 26 and 18. I enjoy reading and spending time watching movies and traveling.
