Lauren Anzelone

I am a provisional Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters in Social Work from East Carolina University in 2009. I have been providing support to children, adolescences, adults with disabilities, and their families since 2003. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, trauma, Mood Disorders, and ADHD. I also have helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. It’s an honor to be able to come along side others during their journey. I am passionate about helping women, parents raising adolescents and/or foster children, and young adults. It has also been a pleasure supporting foster parents as they learn various behavioral management techniques to best support a child demonstrating challenging behaviors. My counseling style is a strengths-based approach and I use a collaborative problem solving approach to help tackle life’s challenges. But I have learned along the way there is nothing to big for God to help us through. He has taught me I can trust in Him and His plans are greater than my plans.(Jeremiah 28:11, Romans 8:28-29)
