LaTrena Marshall

I am a professional counselor licensed in the state of Michigan, and have been practicing for over eight years. I am committed to helping my clients help themselves. Through sincerity, caring and being empathic in understanding to your needs, my goal is to equip you with the tools necessary to bring about a positive outcome. This includes clarifying and understanding your thoughts, feelings, and behavior. I have been in this field for some time now and have worked with a plethora of individuals, ranging from children to elders. I have a strong history of working with teen issues and adolescent and youth development. Aside from counselor, I am also an LPC supervisor. Meanwhile, I am Nationally Certified and have worked in private practice and the school setting; and hold certification in both. I have experience working with a variety of clients as well as with a variety of issues, i.e., coping skills, depression, anxiety, grief, parenting, family dynamics, stress, school issues, etc. My number one priority is YOU, the client; and, I believe through joint effort, hard work strong commitment and growth, a resolution can occur.
