Kimberly Williams

Hi. My Name is Kim Williams (she/her)and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with adults, couples, teenagers and families. I am licensed in Virginia, Texas, Illinois and Florida in addition to being National Board Certified. I have my MS in Counseling, BS in Human Development and my Associate in Logotherapy from the Viktor Frankl Institute. Issues that I have worked with include depression, anxiety, family conflict, parenting, relationship issues, school issues, bipolar, PTSD, divorce, LBGTQ and co-parenting. Treatment approaches I have used include CBT, Logotherapy, Reality therapy, Rogers’ Humanistic and Mindfulness. I approach my clients with empathy, warmth and understanding that reaching out to a counselor can be a difficult first step. I see my clients as the unique people they are and understand there is not one path to a healthier life. We will work together through the concerns that brought you here and towards a manageable plan to make changes. Together we can develop goals, strengthening the abilities you already have and move towards living the life you want. We can develop a better understanding of your choices, what control you have within them and the impact this has in your life.
