I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with 36 years of professional work with individuals, couples, teens and families both online and in my private practice. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, & intimacy related issues. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My therapy approach draws from Gestalt, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). A top priority for me is to meet you where you are at and calibrate treatment and my approach to what will work best for us as we work together to meet your goals. I generally check my emails 1-2 times daily Monday-Friday and will respond as quickly as I can. I may be in a session with another client please be patient as I will respond. I am not in my office on weekends as I enjoy participating in self care activities and connecting with friends and family. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
