Kim Ferren

Hello! I’m Kim Ferren and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years experience, licensed in the state of Texas. I have a Master’s in Counseling and have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I’ve worked in the clinical setting, in private practice, and in the in-patient hospital setting. My therapeutic approach can best be described as client-focused, with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and family systems. It’s important to me to provide a calm and safe environment where you know you will be listened to and not judged. The client/therapist relationship is a key component in successful therapy, so I strive to establish a good rapport, then we will work as a team to establish goals and move forward. Life presents many challenges, most of which we can confidently deal with; but there are times when we get stuck, or we’ve been deeply wounded, and we just don’t know what to do. Asking for help is a great first step in finding your way through the tough moments.
