Dr. Kevin Stefanek

I am a professional counselor licensed in Minnesota with over 10 years of experience as a therapist and performance enhancement/sport psychology consultant. I have worked with clients on a broad array of issues, including anxiety, depression, performance related challenges (for example, in sport, job, or school), relationship difficulties, life and career transitions, substance abuse, and parenting struggles. My therapeutic style is attentive, curious, and patient. That style also includes treating all people with respect and cultural sensitivity. My therapeutic approach is a combination of motivational interviewing, humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapies. I see myself as a guide or coach who uses empirically supported treatments to help clients discover their own answers and solutions based on their lived experiences.
