Kelly Messing-Mirabito

I am a professional counselor and I have been practicing for over 20 years. I have worked with many areas including anxiety, stress, self esteem depression and life transitions. I graduated with my B.S. from Oakland University and my Masters in Counseling also came from Oakland University. I believe that life will always have it’s struggles and that we can all benefit from counseling. Life can throw things at us that we are not prepared for and I can be that person to help you through life’s challenges. I am a great listener, compassionate and empathetic. I will meet you where you are and help you progress towards your goals. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Behavioral Therapies. It takes courage to be able to admit that we are in a place that we can benefit from help from someone else. You have taken that first step towards change and I would enjoy working with you.
