Katrina Dumas

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. My range of experiences within the educational, mental health, and private settings have allowed me to develop a diverse array of strategies for treating behavior issues, depression, anxiety, anger, aggression, and impulsivity to name a few. I have several years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families who are encountering life stressors and challenges. My passion is fueled by the unwavering belief in each person’s ability to address and heal from adverse life experiences, develop strategies needed to respond, build healthy relationships, and sustain change that lasts throughout a lifetime. My expansive trauma training and diverse skillset afford me the opportunity to serve clients of all ages through an integrative approach which includes creating therapeutic plans specific to each individual client thus empowering him or her to set and achieve attainable goals that are unique and specific to their individual needs. I believe in creating a warm, safe, and respectful environment to help create a healthy therapeutic relationship to assist clients achieve their goals. I look forward to working with you.
