Kathleen Eagle

Greetings! My name is Kathleen Eagle. I am a counselor licensed in Alaska with over 7 years of experience working with adults, children and families. I have worked with people with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and life transitions. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I strongly believe in providing choice in counseling and I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach in primarily person-centered and humanistic, in which my clients are seen as the expert in their lives, while I assist and guide you through inner-knowing, interpersonal changes, and increased wellbeing and fulfillment in your life. In doing this I provide choices including incorporating ecotherapy, mindfulness and other creative interventions. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek guidance as you take the first steps on your journey towards a life that feels closer to want you want.
