Julie Thomas

Hi! My name is Julie. I am I Licensed Professional Counselor, and I love what I do. I have been in the counseling field for approximately twenty-five years. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with my Master’s of Education in Community Counseling. I have worked in different settings ,including outpatient counseling, therapeutic foster care, school-based counseling, and adoptions. In these jobs, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of issues, and gain a broad base of knowledge. I currently am offering therapy for the following: depression/sadness anxiety self-esteem PTSD anger management adoption-related issues grief and loss Christian counseling adjustment/transition difficulties mindfulness training parenting skills My approach in counseling is one that is strengths-based, and a team approach. YOU are the expert on you, and I respect that! I will help you build upon the strengths that you already have so that you can be the best version of yourself. I will be by your side along the way.
