Hi, my name is Julian. Allow me to briefly introduce myself (more technical version below). In brief, I’m a highly experienced professional with hopes of sharing what I believe works best based on my training, education, and experience with thousands of previous clients! In doing so, I attempt to understand your identified concerns as accurately as possible, then help to decipher what’s contributing to these issues and work with you to alleviate them. In essence, I’m like a “hybrid” professional, one who can speakeasy or technically, using a light-hearted albeit positive approach that aligns with your best interests and desired goals. Julian G. Cano, LCSW-S, Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, Certified Mental Health Integrative Medical Provider, has a doctoral education and 20 years of treatment experience while serving diverse clientele struggling with mental health conditions, health problems, as well as, relationship issues and other life circumstances. By using an array of treatment skills and modalities, I assist clients in making meaningful emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and lifestyle changes. For example, I frequently rely on a range of theories and treatment approaches including psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal processing, motivational interviewing, family systems, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness therapies, each individualized toward a client’s specific needs. Moreover, this professional is well versed regarding the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, alcohol and drugs, sexual problems, relationship conflicts, employment and career issues, academic problems, grief and bereavement, and personality dysfunction, all of which prolongs suffering. Most importantly, I believe that I relate well to people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, gender, students, military and veterans, law enforcement personnel, medical staff, nurses, physicians, therapists or counselors, and business executives. My professional and personal interests include ancient history, sports at every level, automotive, health and fitness, nutrition, reading, YouTube, education and training, clinical supervision, spirituality, and enjoying genuine humor.
