Hello, I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. I have 40 years of experience working with children and their families providing individual, group and family counseling. I spent my first twenty years working with adolescent males and their families with mental health and criminal charges. The last twenty years I have provided counseling in the school setting working with children of all ages as well as their families. In addition, I have provided outpatient therapy in a private practice setting for the last 6 years. Clients at this facility have included young children as well as adults. My clients have had a wide range of concerns from ADHD, anxiety, depression, career challenges to parenting problems. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with compassion, sensitivity and respect. All qualities I want to be treated with by others. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, rational emotive, and humanistic style. I will tailor our conversations to meet your specific needs.
