I began my career as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas in 2007. I have been providing therapy in community mental health centers, agencies, colleges, and a bereavement center throughout my career. I have worked with individuals of all ages and from a diverse range of backgrounds. I have worked with people who come in with stress concerns, anxiety, depression, and grief. Working through challenges presents a great opportunity for personal growth. My goal is to help you to see that you are in control of your life. I will challenge your thought process to assist you to understand the core of who you are and why you are struggling. This process will not be easy, and sometimes it may be uncomfortable; however, it will be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling if you have the desire to change. The therapy I provide is based on client-centered, integrating other approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. We will discuss your concerns, develop priorities, and work together to accomplish your goals. We will explore several approaches and may use books and creative activities, like art or writing.
