Jeanette Fierro

Hello, my name is Jeanette Fierro. I am a Latina therapist licensed in Texas with 3 years of professional work experience. I currently live in the Van Horn/Valentine/Marfa, Texas area and spent most of my life in Odessa/Midland. My experience began in working through an agency with adults, children, and adolescents with various disorders from low income communities, incarcerated, and crisis situations. I transitioned into counseling in private practice where I can take the direction of how to best treat my clients. Your thoughts and emotions are highly valued in my sessions. As a therapist I specialize in issues with self esteem and confidence, problems in various types of relationships, managing anxiety and depression, and living a meaningful life. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. In session, I will provide insight and understanding to your situation, so that you can ultimately decide what is the best course of action toward your personal goals. Dependent on each client we may be use homework activities to analyze or allow the client to explore their findings through psychoanalysis. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. Because of family needs I am mainly available mornings until 5:30 pm.
