Janee' Johnson

Hi, I am Janee’ Johnson, Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I began my work as a therapist in Jacksonville, FL 14 years ago. I have worked with people in a variety of areas including: crisis intervention, trauma processing, substance abuse recovery, family systems, mood disorders, anxiety management, dissociative issues, and personality issues. I have experience working with a range of populations and ages. I believe in hard work and that having someone to support you through the hard work is very important. I have a passion to be that supportive, impartial person for people. I believe in treating the whole person and meeting you where you are on your path. I utilize an integrative approach and have specialized training in Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I spend a lot of time developing my relationship with my clients and believe that through honest communication of our experiences with each other in sessions you can learn a lot about how to better interact in the world around you. Making changes in life is hard for most people; Deciding that you want to change something in your life, even if you do not know what that is yet, is the first step. I am here to help.
