I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed in the state of Kentucky, with 20 years of experience. I have worked in diverse settings , helping clients with a wide array of struggles, such as depression , grief, anxiety, impulse control, trauma, OCD, relationship problems, anger issues, mood dysregulation and others. I approach each client offering unconditional positive regard, and strive to create an atmosphere of humility, compassion, and grace for each individual, as they come seeking help and hope for positive changes in their lives. It ‘s a difficult challenge to come to a therapy session, and talk to a stranger about things that matter most in your life., so it is a truly an honor and privilege to be trusted to provide the care and help that you are hoping for. My approach is eclectic and wholistic, using Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution Focused, Person Centered, trauma informed, Choice/Reality, Strengths Based, and others. I believe we as human beings are too diverse to provide cookie cutter treatment, so I try to meet each client where they are, and use an approach that will work for them specifically. I believe clients are the experts on themselves, so You will always be in the drivers seat, as you m ove through the process of finding hope and healing,, and I will partner with you to provide support and help on your journey to change.
