Dr. Geralyn Dexter

Hi! I’m a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with 14 years of experience and a Ph.D. in Psychology. My passion lies in helping people live authentically and thrive. I’ve worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use, stress, self-harm, life transitions, and more. I’ve honed my skills in various settings, from intensive outpatient programs to in-home therapy, to private practice and startups. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where we can work together to achieve your goals. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and empathy. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you and identify areas where you’d like to see growth and change. I’ll draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques.
