Gabriela Kuri Montes

Hello and welcome! My name is Gabby and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have over 12 years’ experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, outpatient, in-home, and with law enforcement, this simply means that I have had experience working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. I have the most experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, family/relationship conflicts, couples counseling, life transitions, and trauma. I like using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and many other modalities that have shown to be successful. I would describe my style as empathic, warm and supportive, and I am ready to help you with your struggle head-on. Collaboration is very important – together we can work on establishing concrete goals and steps for you to help overcome your current situation.
