Life sometimes can be challenging and over whelming. Many who attempt to navigate the course of life are sometimes discouraged, worried, and left with feeling of hopelessness. Yes, life is challenging and sometimes the vision for our lives are sometimes blurred; it is in these moments of uncertainty that we need an empathetic and caring person to affirm us and give us support for the challenges that we must face and overcome. I’ve learned early in life two powerful lessons: #1. “Never stop hoping” and #2.”Your past does not equal your future.” Hello, my name is Famous Erwin, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, Georgia and a few other states. For the past 20 years I have proven to be an effective and compassionate counselor. From private practice to seminars to podcast and curriculum creations I I offer client’s my best, by providing them with a non-judgmental and emotionally safe environment while providing guidance and support as they move into a better life for themselves and their loved ones. My experience as a therapist includes working with individuals who are challenged by: depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, marital and relational dissonance, and substance abuse. The most important goal that I have for my client’s is to provide them with effective therapeutic tools that is instrumental in improving their relationships and quality of life. The therapeutic modality that I utilize to achieve these goals in my counseling sessions are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person- Centered Therapy, Solution- Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Christian/Spiritual Counseling. I also have working knowledge of NLP (Neuro Linguistic programming) techniques.
