Faith Lang

Hi. My name is Faith Lang and I’m here to help! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I ‘ve had the opportunity to work with people of various ages, backgrounds and ethnicities to enhance all aspects of their life. As a result, I’ve found that many people achieve great comfort by evaluating past beliefs and finding a new perspective regarding the meaning of life. My specialty in addiction has shown me that all people can change and that behavioral change can lead to enhanced self esteem and the ability to move forward in life. A prior Masters in Special Education and teaching experience provided an understanding of the uniqueness of each individual and created a close rapport with children and adolescents. With this combined knowledge I’ve been fortunate to see great success with so many clients. As supervisor of a chemical dependency program, I had the opportunity to create programs assisting both addicts and their families . I’ve also taught upcoming counselors in a county chemical dependency program and trained interns. In private practice, I’ve counseled individuals and families to acquire emotional support and achieve greater understanding of themselves through the use of many techniques, including hypnotherapy. The result of being raised in a society where we are encouraged to believe that more is better often leads to impulsive and compulsive behaviors, resulting in anxiety and depression. However, it’s possible to look at life through a new lens. I hope to help you do it!
