I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in New Jersey, working as a psychotherapist/mental health clinician. I’m warm, friendly, and interactive. My passion in counseling is to help those who would like to help themselves, and I want to be the person who can help you feel better(even a bit) at the end of the day and eventually in your life. I have worked with clients of all age populations, from age 5 to older seniors (65+) and at various mental health settings, including in-home treatments, outpatient mental health centers, and assisted living facilities. The topics/concerns that I’ve been assisting my clients with are depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship conflicts, communication /parenting skills, and ADHD. I provide “client-centered,” “goal-oriented,” and “strength-based” treatments and assist clients in developing insights into their troubling situations and building coping skills to manage the distress in their lives. My primary modalities are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, Nurtured-Heart Approach (particularly for children and parents), and solution-focused approaches. I’m also a certified therapist treating PTSD – Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change.
