Hello, my name is Emmanuella Owobu a licensed therapist. I present myself fully, and professionally in helping willing clients develop the right coping skills to better handle successfully, challenging life, behavioral and mental issues like anger management, anxiety related disorders, trauma related disorders, bipolar related disorders, depression, suicidal thoughts, aging, effective parenting, change of life, grieving, self-esteem, family and couples problems, stress, as well as drug and alcohol use disorders. I provide psychotherapy, assessment, diagnosis, substance abuse treatment, and crisis management. I possess extensive experience in multicultural sensitive therapeutic skills. Able to work with individuals, couples, family and groups. Licensed by the State of Maryland Board of professional counselors in clinical counseling, approved as clinical supervisor and certified in the treatment of drug and alcohol problems. My knowledge in many theories helps me better work with clients to personalize the direction of treatment best suited for each client. It is my belief that “one size fits all” never works in life stressors and developing the skills to work through them.
