I believe that everyone deserves time and a safe space for self-care, where individuals can be heard without judgement. I also believe that everyone deserves to work through concerns while feeling supported when making difficult decisions. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been working in mental health for almost 20 years. I have worked with people who have been diagnosed with: Bi-polar, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and life-limiting medical illnesses, as well as people dealing with grief, phobias, relationship and school issues. I have worked in community, inpatient, outpatient and hospital settings. I like to utilize a variety of treatment modalities because I have found that a “one size fits all” approach to mental health, is about as relatable to most people as a one size fits all bathing suit. I am proud of you for reaching out and I look forward to working with you.
