Ebonii Nelson

Well hello, and welcome to step one of the therapeutic process – finding a therapist. Take a deep breath, and trust your gut. My name is Ebonii Nelson, and I’m an LPC in Texas. In my work, my goal is to enable my clients to live in the here-and-now, take notice of their own experiences, and harness the power that already resides inside in order to create change and live happier, healthier lives. I believe life is about two things: loving and learning, and through our work together clients will be encouraged to reveal and learn from what was or has been, in order to heal and love what is. I am a generalist practitioner, and my style combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic counseling methods. I specialize in working with those aged 19 – 36, however I am committed to helping all individuals. I treat a variety of concerns including anxiety, stress management, goal setting, depression, relationship issues, and self-esteem. My approach to working with clients is straightforward and supportive in order to assist clients in becoming aware of what they are doing, how they are doing it, and how they change themselves, and at the same time, learning to accept and value themselves. Finding the perfect therapist fit is not always easy, but well worth the initial angst. Scary as it may be, you deserve to rediscover your best self, and I look forward to the opportunity to create the safe space that will enable you to reemerge a healthier you.
