Hi, I’m Donny Simpson, LMFT. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Cal State Fullerton. In addition to my therapy work, I bring a strong background in child welfare, having served as a Child Welfare Social Worker and currently managing Social Workers within Children and Family Services. This experience gives me unique insight into complex family dynamics, reunification, and adoption-related challenges. I work with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including: -Anxiety and depression -Stress management and work-related stress -Relationship, marital, and family issues -LGBTQ+ identity and life challenges -Families involved in the Child Welfare system My therapeutic style is laidback, conversational, and collaborative. I strive to create a judgment-free space that feels safe, supportive, and empowering. While our work together will be goal-oriented, I also believe in creating space for reflection and personal insight. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring each session to meet your individual needs. Clients often tell me that I’m easy to talk to and that our sessions feel both meaningful and approachable. Whether you’re navigating a tough transition or simply want to grow, I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey.
