Donna Tiemeyer

I offer over 25 years of counseling as a Licensed Professional Counselor, to individuals suffering from depression, grief and loss, trauma, empty nest syndrome, anxiety, cultural transition, martial conflict, and blended families. I have extensive experience dealing with and treating PTSD and Substance Use Disorders is treatment facilities, as well. I offer a warm, accepting therapy style that is client-centered. I listen for your individual personality traits and specific emotional needs in order to individualize a treatment plan and establish counseling goals that are tailored to your specific needs. I utilize a combination of therapies including, cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, structured family therapy, mindfulness, prolonged exposure and/or narrative therapies, when indicated. I know it takes tremendous courage to reach out and ask for help. I’m here to make that process feel as non-threatening and comfortable as possible. No one should be alone in their pain and with the tele-mental health option which is now available, how convenient it is to be able to access the emotional support you need right from the privacy of your own home.
