There are so many different circumstances that lead to seeking counseling. Most of the time, it comes down to the fact that we know something has to change and we don’t know what (or how) to do this alone. That is where I come in. I am here to listen…to support and encourage. I am also here to help you sort through your thoughts and feelings so that you can begin to see some positive movement again. I am a licensed professional counselor in Colorado with over 10 years professional experience helping people. I have successfully worked with Clients to address: Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Grief and Loss, Divorce, Parenting Challenges, Physical and Emotional Trauma, Family Conflict and Communication, Substance Use, etc. I also have a lot of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. My counseling style is supportive and goal oriented. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. Depending on my clients’ needs, I draw from diverse counseling techniques that can include: Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), as well as psychodynamic therapy techniques. Every client is unique, so all counseling is individualized to meet their individual strengths and challenges. At times, we all can find ourselves feeling isolated…alone…without understanding. It can be hard to reach out to someone and seek the support you need. There is hope, though. The support is there for you when you are ready. I look forward to working with you!
