Diamond Greene

My name is Diamond Greene and I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) and owner of The Healing Center. I am committed to helping young adults learn how to manage life’s uncertainties and transitions and the resulting depression and anxiety that may accompany these changes. In addition, the health of our relationships is essential to our well-being, so I strive to help individuals navigate challenging relationships. My work focuses on exploring any unwanted behaviors, habits, and harmful beliefs that you may hold about yourself, others, or the world. In addition, I like to explore your personal strengths and incorporate those into a healthier way of thinking and healthier coping strategies. Relationally, I will help you identify and change unhealthy patterns that you may be blind to, which will allow you to have healthier and more fulfilling relationships. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. You are the expert of your own life and I am here to serve as a guide as you reach your highest potential and move toward healing. I have 7 years of clinical experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Family Science with a minor in Human Development. I continued my journey at UMD and pursued a Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy. While obtaining my master’s degree, I worked as an intern at the Center for Healthy Families for two years. From there, I have had a variety of experiences in community-based care, hospital-based care, and within the private practice setting.
