Hi, I am Denise, a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas for over 27 years and still enjoying it. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience working with a wide range of issues including depression, bipolar, anxiety, grief/loss, addiction/recovery and life changes. I have had the opportunity to work in many different levels of care including, outpatient, crisis intervention, intensive outpatient, partial hospital, hospital, and residential care. My counseling style is respectful and interactive. My integrated approach includes theory and techniques from client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral and mindfulness. By combining techniques from various approaches, I can develop a plan of treatment to fit your specific needs more effectively. I appreciate the courage it takes to seek help and strive to work with each client to overcome their challenges, understanding that reaching out for help is the first step on the journey to feeling better.
