Welcome! My name is Denise Billings and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in South Florida with close to 9 years experience. I service the community with a broad, multifaceted expertise in counseling patients with diverse issues including mental illness, anger management, life skills deficits, trauma, and more. Licensed professional with the ability to quickly establish a rapport and facilitate positive change within families. Compassionate therapist fully capable of conducting cognitive/behavioral therapy in English. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been working with adults and adolescents for almost 9 years, I describe my clinical approach as using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused since everyone comes with different needs and problems. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels.
