My name is DeAnna Graham. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina with 10 years of professional work experience. I am so happy that you reached out for help. My experience entails counseling/empowering individuals and families to assess available opportunities and resources that will develop and expand their potential to live better lives. I have gained a wealth of knowledge regarding providing case management and supportive counseling/therapy to individuals on such issues as diversity, mental health, behavior management, problem solving, anger management, delinquency, crisis intervention, homelessness, child abuse/ neglect, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. My work experience entails providing services as a qualified professional/therapist/social worker to youth/adults who possess mental, social, emotional, developmental, physical, and economic barriers. I possess a personal understanding of the issues and barriers which may hinder youth/adults in improving their ability to progress in regards to their life domains. I believe that a well-prepared Counselor is involved in and committed to a process of intentional growth that promotes pro-social autonomy and lifelong learning. My high level of concentration, communication, and excellent organizational/problem solving skills have helped and allowed me to achieve a better understanding of the diversities of individuals, thus enhancing the probability of success of individuals in treatment. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
