Dr. Dawn Yelvington

I have my PhD in Counseling Studies and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I have experience working with individuals, couples and families who are struggling with relational conflicts, self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, and more. As a therapist, I am open and supportive in my approach with my clients with the goal of empowering them to function at their optimal potential. I encourage those that I work with to achieve a higher level of self-awareness, self-acceptance and the courage to face their struggles.
