Colleen Adams

Hello! I am a counselor licensed in New Jersey with over 11 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, chronic health conditions, adoption related concerns, and traumatic brain injury. I also have extensive experience working with older adults and those facing end of life. I would describe my counseling style as warm and flexible based on my client’s needs. I absolutely will treat everyone with respect and compassion. I will be on your team! My counseling approach is a combination of cognitive behavioral, humanistic, motivational interviewing, and dialectical counseling. I work with each client individually to focus treatment on what works best for them. It is so courageous of you to take the first step in seeking assistance with making changes in your life.
